NIET Journal of Engineering and Technology (NJET) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all aspects of publishing.
The journal enforces a clear competing interests’ policy and requires full disclosure from authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure transparency and trust in the research it publishes.
All submissions must adhere to internationally accepted ethical standards, as well as relevant national and institutional guidelines—particularly for research involving human or animal subjects, biological materials, or sensitive data. Authors must ensure that informed consent has been obtained where required and that ethical approvals are appropriately documented.
NJET is a proud member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and fully aligns with its principles for addressing publication misconduct. Allegations of unethical behavior—including plagiarism, data falsification, or authorship disputes—will be thoroughly investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines to preserve the integrity of the academic record.
The journal may utilize plagiarism detection tools to screen manuscripts. In cases where plagiarism or duplicate publication is identified, appropriate action will be taken following COPE’s established protocols.
